Hioki Mimu

Hioki Mimu (日置 美夢), better known by her former stage name MIMU, is a Japanese talent. She is a former member of the groups Happiness, E-girls and of the duo ITI.

Biography[]

Early Life[]

Hioki Mimu was born on December 30, 1995 in Hyogo, Japan.

Prior to joining LDH, she attended EXPG classes in Osaka.

2008[]

On October 26, it was decided that she would become a member of the unit Happiness among other EXPG students, and her official stage name became MIMU.

2011[]

On February 9, she made major debut with Happiness with their single "Kiss Me".

On April 24, she was announced as member of E-girls, having a concurrent position between the group and Happiness.

2012[]

On January 27, she announced hiatus from both Happiness and E-girls to focus on her studies.[1]

On October 25, she announced graduation from the groups to priorize her studies.[2]

2015[]

In 2015, she returned to the show business by joining the duo ITI as a vocalist.

2019[]

On October 31, ITI announced their disbandment and MIMU left the group.[3]

2020[]

On January 8, it announced that she has joined the agency CONTREPRO. She also announced that she would be using her birth name from now.[4]
